These transformers are predominantly used in fixed tools for spot welding. The transformers with two secondary circuits can be connected using fixed copper jumpers, either in series or in parallel.
Compacted, encapsulated and water cooled with power rates from 25KVA to 200 KVA at 50% of duty cycle.
These transformers are used in premises with manual and compact hanging points. The long secondary circuits require high secondary voltages, hence the need to keep two secondary coils inside that are connected in series.
Compacted, encapsulated and water cooled with power rates from 100KVA to 300 KVA at 50% of duty cycle.
This type of transformer with large cast or laminated copper secondary terminals is used in standard machines for Spot, Projection, Seam and Butt welding. It enables fixed busbars or flexible copper sheets to be connected.
In projection welding, the compression stress and the current flow are located in one or several specific points set by the projections in one of the two parts to be joined.
If roller-type electrodes are used, and the current flow times through the overlapped parts is very high, we will be talking about sean welding.
If, on the other hand, one of the parts to be welded is fixed to the machine, and the other moves towards the first one until getting in causing flashing, we will be talking about butt welding.
These Transformers cover a wide range of power rates, from 25KVA to 1.500KVA at 50% of duty cycle. Encapsulated and water cooled. Thanks to the modular system design of series ‘TNC’, we can achieve powers above 1MVA.
