Amorphous cores

• Due to their characteristics, these cores are an alternative to traditional iron-silicon materials in applications where greater permeability, lower losses or better frequency behaviour is required.

  An additional advantage of these cores is that the magnetic properties can be adjusted over a fairly wide range depending on the treatment they are subjected to, and all this with a high level of saturation (Bs) (1.56T).

  Although their properties do not reach the level of nanocrystalline cores (both in losses and especially in permeability), they are a good alternative in not excessively demanding applications where a competitive price is needed.
